Very thorough review of the TPS, and it would be a shame if your view that it is losing effectiveness as a deterrent to cold calling proves to be true. If self regulation doesn’t work it risks greater enforced regulation being introduced which could damage legitimate marketers.

Just on your point about charging to access the list, this is generally true but there are some very low cost options out there like our 1check service, which is just £10 a month.

True call is fantastic so easy to set up stops all unwanted calls so much so i had to check to see if my phone works lol.So nice to have peace and quite.Highly recomended.Also the opt out team are excellent great communications,nice people to deal with.

Does exactly what it says it does right out of the box – had it up and running within 5 minutes.
Manual is in coherent English for electronics equipment and easy to follow.
An invaluable piece of equipment if you value peace and quiet and privacy, and freedom from the sales people and the scammers.
Don’t think twice – get one.

Hi i tried everything to stop marketing they even called on sundays and bank holidays.The tps was useless,i emailed them daily to complain.The solution that worked best was truecall one of the best purchases i have ever made.All calls in my zap list have stopped and if they change numbers they will be zapped again.Peace at last.

Take control of your telephone line and remove the intensely annoying intrusion of cold callers from your life! This device is amazing – we get regular cold/silent/fax calls, even though we’re on the TPS/FPS and Silentguard lists. We had previously signed up to BT’s Choose To Refuse and Anonymous Reject services which helped, but at £7.50 per month, and rising, this was a perpetually ongoing cost to pay for a partial solution. For the one-off price of £90, or to put it another way, around 10 months of payments to BT, we now have a solution that is 100% effective at blocking all unwanted calls. And it works. Since installation the device has already silently blocked numerous calls. This device should not be necessary, but in a world where companies are the priority and the consumer is there to be constantly harassed this is a must-own device. Absolutely brilliant.
